The Boston chapter gathered at Maggiano's for an evening celebrating Korean American culture and community. We shared N-KSA's mission and vision while partnering with the Council of Korean Americans to strengthen connections among Korean American students in the New England region.

2024 National Summit

Our 2024 National Summit brought together Korean American students from across the nation to New York City. The summit fostered community bonding through workshops, networking sessions, and cultural experiences, empowering the next generation of Korean American leaders.

FELLOWS PROGRAM

The National Korean Student Alliance (N-KSA) Fellows Program offers a unique and enriching opportunity for college students to engage in the heart of nonprofit programming and development, specifically tailored to serve the Korean American college student community.

Fellowships are a 1-year commitment, with an opportunity to continue renewing until graduation. All required work will be conducted remotely and takes approximately 3-4 hours per week.

Fellowship Tracks

Nonprofit Programming Development

Fellows in this role will immerse themselves in the planning and execution of programs that directly benefit Korean American college students. This includes conceptualizing new initiatives, coordinating events, and working collaboratively with team members to address the unique needs and challenges of the community.

Marketing and Social Media

For those with a flair for creativity and digital communication, this role offers the chance to shape the public voice of the N-KSA. Fellows will be involved in developing marketing strategies, creating engaging content for various social media platforms, and helping to expand the reach and impact of the organization.

What Fellows Receive

  • Experience in projects supporting a 501(c)3 organization
  • Year-long (6 sessions) career development classes, such as resume workshops and speaker events
  • Opportunity to be paired with an N-KSA mentor
  • Work with recent graduates in fields across medicine, law, military, business, and more as equal partners
  • CKA Gala/Summit Tickets (face value of $3500)
  • Connect with other students and recent graduates across the country

MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

The N-KSA Mentorship Program is a community-focused initiative designed to connect students with experienced mentors in their fields. The focus is on longitudinal connections between mentors and mentees that stretch beyond the confines of N-KSA as an organization.
